The evolution of managerial skills set against the rise of artificial intelligence: A mixed methods approach

Our article examines the impact of AI on managerial skills. Our data was collected from AI experts via a qualitative study (Study 1 — 40 respondents), which was then confirmed by a quantitative study (Study 2 — 103 other respondents). Our findings highlight the managerial skills that are bound to be replaced or augmented, as well as the technical and non-technical skills that managers need in order to work with AI.
