New alloy for turbocompressors of engines of agricultural machines

1982
1. For casting without vacuum, a heat-resistant nickel alloy KhN65VBMYuL was developed; it does not contain titanium which easily oxidizes in air. Increased strength of this alloy is attained by the segregation of the Ni3Nb phase with fcc lattice during aging. 2. The alloy KhN65VBMYuL has a high creep limit, good ductility and impact toughness, good heat resistance, high resistance to crack formation in thin-walled castings with complex configuration. 3. The use of the alloy KhN65VBMYuL made it possible to produce highly efficient engines for tractors and combines.
