Modeling and Performances Analysis of Switched Reluctance Linear Motor for Sliding Door Application

In this paper, an analytical model of the switched reluctance motor is proposed that considers the nonlinearity of magnetic characteristics. This model is based on the Fourier series decomposition of the inductance expression. Then, their coefficients are determined by using a curve fitting of three inductance-current characteristics computed via a two-dimensional finite element method. The accuracy of the proposed model is evinced by comparing the static and dynamic characteristics obtained by the analytical model with the two dimensions finite element method calculated ones.)
