Modal Analysis of the Beam Bending Vibration in Harmonic Drive

FEA simulation method to applied to rigid gear of model XB-80-134H harmonic drive.The model frequency and model tape are given which constraints with real work comdition are applied to rigid gear and choosing more precise element.Vibration tests were done in order to verify the simulation results,finally,the resonance frequency was detected and made a conclusion that the result is right.Making use of the verified FEA model,the simulation constructer design was done in the computer to find methods that can increase the resonance frequency.With the compared of many plans ,to increase the radius of protuding edge can increase the resonance trequency of rigid gear without other element modified and avoid resonating in harmonic drive reducer.
