Application of SAP2000 in Multi-flue Steel Chimney Structure Analysis

With the finite elementan alysis software SAP2000,the stress and displacement are analyzed by wind load,response spectrum method and time history analysis method for the multi-flue steel chimney under different loads. The calculation results show that: the wind load and earthquake action can perform control functions on mechanical properties of steel chimney. The results are important for understanding the mechanical properties of multi-flue steel chimney in different working conditions, which can provide reference for the design of multi-flue steel chimney.
