A New Discovery At The Folsom Type Site

A projectile point found at the Folsom site in 1994 brings the number of known type specimens to 24 or 25. Blood residue analysis, fracture patterns, projectile point attributes, and lithic source are consistent with previous site discoveries and interpretations.
