Tension analysis for tension device of the belt conveyor

Contraposing the horizontal and inclined conveying,this paper discusses the ef- fects of the belt tension on the dynamic tension of fixed tension device,automatic tension device and weighted tension device when starting a belt conveyor.The elastic elongation magnitude and the change value of minimum tension of belt when starting are deduced. Finally,it comes to a conclusion through comparing with tension way in the tail of the belt conveyor.
