Examination of Problems and Improvements of Virtual Library Systems

In recent years, online service in public libraries have been making progress. In addition, there are services to use VR to guide library facilities. All these online services increase the convenience of information retrieval for users. However, there are many cases to lose functionality that libraries originally hold. In this paper, we point out the problems and risks of online libraries, and aim at developing a new form of virtual library based on the shape of traditional open-stack libraries.
