Empleo del BIOBRAS-6 en la micropropagación del cultivar de plátano FHIA –21 (AAAB)

2002
With the objective of evaluating the effectiveness of BIOBRAS-6 in the micropropagation of the plantain cultivar FHIA-21, the present work was carried out during the period of January 2000 to September 2001, in the laboratory of Mass Propagation of the Institute of Plant Biotechnology. Different concentrations (0.05, 0.01 mg.l -1 ) and combinations of this product were studied with growth regulators for multiplication, in vitro rooting and acclimatization. Results obtained in the experiments of the different phases had a marked effect of auxin reinforcement of BIOBRAS-6. In the multiplication phase BIOBRAS-6 (0.05 mg.l -1 ) combined with 6-Benzilaminopurine(BAP) (4 mg.l -1 ) presented growth indicators superior to the plants in vitro as well as in the rooting phase as supplement of the culture medium with Indolacetic acid(IAA) (0.65 mg.l -1 ). A superior development was also observed in the in vitro plants in the acclimatization phase after submerging the roots in a solution of water with Naftalenacetic acid (NAA) (10 mg.l -1 ) and BIOBRAS-6 (0.05 mg.l -1 ). In general the use of BIOBRAS-6 in the micropropagation of the hybrid FHIA-21, increased the principal indicators for the different stages. reinforcement Key words: brasinosteroids, quality, in vitro plants, auxin
