Research on Virtual Circuit of HVDC Control and Protection System and Its Application

According to the characteristics that network and optical fiber are widely used in the secondary system of HVDC control and protection system, referring to the virtual circuit of intelligent substation, a layered architecture for virtual circuit of HVDC control and protection system is proposed. The virtual circuit model is described by a series of description files: physical topology network description file, logical topology network description file, mapping relationship description file and LogicalLink description file. Based on virtual circuit, the visualization, online monitoring and other practical functions of secondary system can be realized, which can effectively support the on-site operation and maintenance personnel to quickly locate and troubleshoot the faults, and can also improve the reliability of the HVDC transmission system.
