The production of heavy mesons and hyperons in nuclear disintegrations

This is a prel iminary report on an investigation being under taken in Bristol. The object of this investigation is to make a systematic s tudy of all the particles with ~ 0.2 < ~ < 0.55 emit ted from high energy nuclear disintegrations, with part icular reference to the production rates and energy spectra of the heavy mesons and hyperons.
