Modeling and Analysis of Silicon Nitride (Si3N4) based Opto Fluidic Sensor

Silicon nitride based opto fluidic biosensor is designed to operate at 660nm wavelength. The effective refractive index of the overall structure is found to be 1.87 at 660nm wavelength with almost no losses. The proposed model can be used as absorbance or refractive index based sensor.
