Fluorinated poss composite organosilicon coating, preparation method and anti-icing application

2014
Disclosed are a fluorinated POSS composite organosilicon coating, preparation method and anti-icing application. The coating is prepared by combining fluorinated POSS having eight vertices respectively containing silicon-hydrogen bonds and fluorine-containing alkyl chains with organosilicon and curing and film-forming via a silicon-hydrogen addition reaction. The fluorinated POSS is introduced into a bi-component organosilicon system, and forms the coating with hydrogenous polysiloxane and ethenyl polysiloxane. The pull of the low surface energy fluorine-containing alkyl chains causes the fluorinated POSS to become enriched at a coating surface, and regular micro-nano wrinkles are generated on the coating surface and cooperate with the lubricating action of the hydrogenous polysiloxane on the coating surface, thus reducing a water contact angle hysteresis and an ice shearing strength of the coating surface. The present invention has an easily obtained material, a simple method and a controllable condition; the water contact angle hysteresis of the prepared coating layer can be as low as 2°, and the ice shearing strength can be as low as 20kPa; thus, the anti-icing coating layer effectively reduces ice coverage.
