Lattice chiral fermions and flavor anomalies

Abstract We study flavor anomalies in a lattice formulation of chiral gauge theories. The correct anomaly structure is recovered in the continuum limit. Thus, anomalies do not prevent the doublers from decoupling as the lattice spacing vanishes.
