Ammoxidation catalyst and preparation thereof
1996
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mixed oxide having a crystallographic phase of rutile TiO2 type by dissolving vanadium, antimony and titanium compounds in a satd. alcohol, bringing the soln. into contact with water to precipitate the mixed oxide, and separating and calcining the obtained mixed oxide. SOLUTION: For preparing a mixed oxide contg. vanadium, antimony and titanium corresponding to the formula VSba Tib Ox (a is an integer or a fraction of >=0.1, b is an integer or a fraction of >=0.1, x is an integer or a fraction determined by oxidation states of other elements), vanadium, antimony and titanium compounds are dissolved in at least one satd. alcohol such as ethanol. Then, the alcoholic soln. is brought into contact with water to precipitate the mixed oxide, and the obtained mixed oxide is separated and calcined. As soluble vanadium compounds, there may be used vanadyl acetyl acetonate, vanadium trichloride, vanadium trifluoride or the like.
