PENDAMPINGAN PENINGKATAN KUALITAS AIR BERSIH BADAN PENGELOLA SARANA PENYEDIAAN AIR MINUM DAN SANITASI (BP SPAMS) TIRTO WENING DI DESA KEDUNGSUMUR

The availability of clean water is an inseparable part of human life. So that the presence of clean water greatly affects various aspects of human life. Aspects of human life that are affected by the availability of clean water include rumors, social, economic, and various public facilities. In 2014 the Kedungsumur village government had made a drill well with a depth of 110 meters. The clean water supply system is then managed by an agency called the Tirto Wening Water and Sanitation Supply Management Agency (BP SPAMS). The Water Supply and Sanitation Facility Management Agency (BP SPAMS) Tirto Wening officially operated in 2014 and began distributing clean water. However, the quality of clean water distributed to customers is still not good due to the presence of fine white sand and the Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) content that still exceeds the threshold set by the government. By this sabab, through the Community Partnership Program (PKM) from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, it will provide assistance to improve the quality of clean water Management and Water Supply Sanitation (BP SPAMS) Management Agency Tirto Wening. The application of a 300-liter modified water filter with bioball filter, zeolite, activated carbon and foam or blue biomato can reduce fine white sand and reduce the concentration of Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) from 712 mg/L to 471 mg/L. The Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) level is in accordance with Minister of Health Regulation No. 492/MENKES/Per/IV/ 2010 which is a maximum of 500 mg/L.
