Maintain production and reproduction on grazing in spring : feed & grazing

During spring, cows and ewes are usually medium to late pregnant and they require more nutrients. The quality and quantity of their main source of feed (if only on natural grazing) will deteriorate even more before it starts to rain again. Selection for moderate quality natural grazing will not be sufficient, even to maintain dry, pregnant cows.
