Preparation and application of efficient water treatment agent ferrate

The ferrate is a kind of efficient multi-functional environment-friendly water treatment agent with disinfection,oxidation,flocculation,adsorption and many other features.It is widely used in water purification and various production waste water treatment.In addition to water treatment,ferrate also can be used for the oxidation of organic synthesis and battery materials.In this paper,ferrate preparation methods,properties and applications are reviewed,the limitations of the various preparation methods is analyzed.In the end,we point out the current problems and solutions and look forward to the application and future of ferrate.
