The invention relates to a lens distortion correction method. According to some feasible embodiments of the invention, image data acquired from a lens is subjected to horizontal-direction correction, the image data subjected to the horizontal-direction correction is written in a dynamic memory, the image data in the dynamic memory is subjected to vertical-direction correction, and lens distortion correction is carried out in two steps according to the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, so that the lens distortion correction is realized in a low-cost manner. The invention further discloses a corresponding lens distortion correction device.
