Influence of internuclear interaction on the charge transfer differential cross section

It is well known that in the strong potential Born approximation, the calculation of the charge transfer amplitude is a complicated task due to the internuclear interaction terms which are difficult to evaluate. In this work, we performed the Fourier transform of the amplitude from the momentum space into the impact parameter space to include the phase factor accounting the internuclear interaction, and transform it back to the momentum space. Our calculations agree well with the experimental data for 5Mev and 2.8Mev proton collisions on the hydrogen atom.
