Enhanced Digital Image Watermarking in Combination with Encryption

The digital images have been copied and transmitted widely with the development of the internet rapidly hence the copyright protection has been receiving an increasing attention these days. Digital image watermarking is the technique for hiding one image into another image which gives us an effective approach for copyright protection. In our proposed work, a combined encryption/watermarking system for the purpose of protecting Digital images. In this system, a block-based image watermarking algorithm is used which uses the cryptographic Encryption algorithm to find out the positions of the cover image in which the watermark is to be embedded which is nothing but the supporting structure for enhancing security. The simulation is proposed in MATLAB. The Proposed system provides the combination of safety, performance, and flexibility for secure data transmission.
