Multicomponent Synthesis of Pyrroles from Cyclopropanes: A One‐Pot Palladium(0)‐Catalyzed Dehydrocarbonylation/Dehydration

Starting with the Yb-catalyzed two-component coupling of cyclopropane dicarboxylates (I) with nitrones or the analogous three-component reaction of substrates (VII) with phenylhydrazine and aldehydes, a convenient synthesis of biologically important tetrasubstituted pyrrole units is demonstrated.
