Technical analysis of "chimney" ventilation of university academic buildings:a case of building clusters at Jubilee Campus,University of Nottingham,U K

Through the analysis of "chimney" ventilation of academic buildings at Jubilee Campus,University of Nottingham,U K,the article introduces the function principle of "chimney" ventilation and the combination of technology and architecture,and evaluates later employment of "chimney" ventilation technology.From this case it is pointed out that the realization in architecture of sustainability is supposed to be based upon technology,research and funds and it is a combination of rigorous science and creation of architects.And it is also a process of continual improvement.Through the introduction or a new analysis of "chimney" ventilation technology,the author hopes to be able to provide new ideas of design.
