An Analysis on Thread Seizing of Supporting Bolts for V94.3 A Gas Turbines

A detail introduction is being presented to the composition of a V94.3 A gas turbine's supporting module.Based on actual installation experience,noticeable items and prestress settings for erection of anchor bolts,base plates and supporting legs of turbines are described,focusing on analysis of thread seizing of supporting bolts.The seizing was found to be caused by misalignment of the bolt centerline with that of the installation hole on base plate. Under such cases,the bolt should be screwed slowly and carefully.
