The Simulation Study of the Assist Characteristic Based on the Characteristics of EPS under the PID Control

EPS Mathematical model was established by mathematical analysis,the EPS control model was established according to the application of the linear PID controU using MATLAB/Simulink simulation software to establish the simulation model of EPS,respectively select different speed,EPS linear assistant characters has carried on the simulation experiment.Results show that when the speed of 0 km/h,EPS biggest lift for car steering wheel torque of 20 N.M.when speed is 40 km/h,power torque reduced to 9 N.M.when the speed is 80 km/h. power torque for a minimum 5 n.M.Therefore,EPS linear dynamical characteristics under different speed can close to the driver on the steering portability and high-speed perceptual demand good road.
