Electrical cable terminal

PURPOSE: To provide the terminal of a cable in which the cable is interrupted inside the terminal, and a rigid conductive element providing a rubber cover with rib seated on a support structure body through an insulating base is substituted for a cable part the cable part until is connected to an overhead conductor. CONSTITUTION: In a terminal 1 for high voltage electric cable, the electric cable 2 is cut off from the position to enter the terminal 1 to a specific distance, and the electrical connection is carried out until reaching to an overhead wire, by a rigid conductor element 15. To the rigid conductor element 15 which is preferable to be a copper pipe, a cover with an elastomer type rib is provided, and it is supported on an insulating base which is preferable to be composed of an epoxy resin. The assembly consisting of the epoxy resin and a rigid conductor element makes the electric field on the surface in the value equal to the dielectric strength of the air, and made in a sufficient length, and a release route suitable to the installing circumstance is formed.
