Modified ground plane geometry for a half impulse radiating antenna

In this paper, we present numerical simulation results of the influence of the modified ground plane geometry of an optimized Half Impulse Radiated Antenna — montena HIRA180. The simulation setup and parametric analysis results are described. We show that the modified geometry of the ground plane improves the antenna usability and portability without compromising its early-time performance and radiated field intensities.
