Participation of iron ions in antioxidant action of urea

: The in vitro and in vivo experiments show that urea inhibits the bivalent iron oxidation and as a result inhibits the lipids peroxide oxidation in homogenates of the brain and liver tissues and in suspension of rat erythrocytes.
