Method and apparatus for an energy usage indicator

A computer-implemented method includes displaying a plurality of power consuming and leistunger-imaging forming vehicle components. The method also includes determining which components currently consume power and currently provide what component performance and size with which the power flows between components. The method further includes displaying one or more arrows, consuming a power flow of at least a power generating component to at least one performance or show power generating component. The method further comprises displaying an indication indicating the size of the power flow associated with the one or more arrows. Furthermore, the method for at least one power-consuming component comprises displaying a measuring scale, which is based on a level of power that is consumed by the at least one power-consuming component.
