SORPTION KINETICS AND SCREENING OF RESINS AVAILABLE FOR ADSORBING HES-PERIDIN FROM ALKALINE EXTRACTS

Fifteen resins were screened by batch adsorption experiments of hesperidin and continual e-lution experiments of adsorbed hesperidin,and the sorption kinetics of the selected resin was also in-vestigated. The results indicate that D296 is available for the adsorption of hesperidin in alkaline ex-tracting solution and the elution of adsorbed hesperidin by Cl-. The equilibrium data of adsorption werewell fitted to the Freundish isotherm. The adsorption of hesperidin on D296 is first- order reaction, andthe rate constant at 60 ℃, that is,k60℃ is 7.7×10-5 s-1.The results also show that ion exchange is thechief adsorption form.
