The invention provides a high voltage generating circuit and method, a power source control circuit and an electronic system. The high voltage generating circuit is applied to the electronic system, and comprises a shaping chip, a boosted circuit and a voltage comparison circuit. Every two of the shaping chip, the boosted circuit and the voltage comparison circuit are connected. The shaping chip converts clock signals into pulse signals and outputs the pulse signals to the boosted circuit, pulse signal output is stopped according to a first control signal output by the voltage comparison circuit, and the pulse signals are output according to a second control signal. The boosted circuit is connected with a power source of the electronic system, and a voltage higher than the power source of the electronic system is output according to output pulses. The voltage comparison circuit compares the currently-output voltage with a preset threshold value, the first control signal is output if the currently-output voltage is larger than the preset threshold value, and the second control signal is output to the shaping chip if the currently-output voltage is equal to the preset threshold value. According to the high voltage generating circuit, an N-MOS can be used in the power source segmentation process, and the circuit is simple in structure and low in cost.
