A thorough damageability analysis of nozzle segments made of cobalt alloy FSX-414 has been performed during TVD operation. It was shown that the most typical defect of the segments is thermal fatigue cracking which decreases the life cycle of the machine parts. The most critical requirements to the repair technology have been determined. It was shown that the optimal method to eliminate thermal fatigue cracks is their cutting and further vacuum high temperature soldering. In this research, for the machine parts repair, Ni-Cr-Fe-Si-B solder was used; this solder allows formation of a regularly structured joint having acceptable level of strength and material plasticity at elevated temperatures.
