Research on the Magnetic Effect of Ground-laid Traction Net Protective Wire on the Signal Cable
2020
Due to the potential safety hazard of high-speed railway traction network in windy areas, it is necessary to study the influence of the protection scheme for the ground laying of the protection wire on the signal cable along the railway. Therefore, in this paper, the Multi-conductor Transmission Lines (MTL) theory is adopted to establish the mathematical model of the traction network and study the current distribution ratio of each conductor while the protection wire is laid on the ground and overhead. According to the Magnetic Inductive Coupling theory, the longitudinal electromotive force of the signal cable is calculated and analyzed. The calculation results show that the protection wire laid on the ground increases the traction return current in the rail and the ground wire, and correspondingly reduces the return current in the protection wire, which leads to the large longitudinal electromotive force of the signal cable. Therefore, protective measures should be taken.
