Method for adsorption treatment of cesium-containing wastewater through using heat modified attapulgite adsorbent

2012
The invention relates to a method for the adsorption treatment of cesium-containing wastewater through using a heat modified attapulgite adsorbent. The method is characterized in that the concentration of cesium in the wastewater is 5-150mg/L; the heat modified attapulgite adsorbent is added to the cesium-containing wastewater according to a mass ratio of the cesium-containing wastewater to the adsorbent of 1:(500-5000); and an adsorption process is carried out in a static and/or oscillation and stirring mode at 0-50DEG C. The heat modified attapulgite adsorbent is added into the wastewater against the cesium-polluted water to adsorb and remove. The method has the advantages of high cesium adsorption efficiency, simple operation process, low adsorption condition requirement, low cost and high regeneration efficiency of the adsorption material, and easy popularization, and has good economic and environmentally-friendly benefits when the method is used for removing cesium in water.
