Abstract In this work the general model proposed in [1] to determine optimal lot sizes for productive process where working and re-reworking times are variable is solved for an important distribution, the Uniform Distribution. By solving such model –one of the most complete models nowadays– for that distribution is now possible to determine optimal lot sizes for several productive processes, since the Uniform Distribution is one of the most common in “real” environments.
