Method for transmitting reference signal, base station and user equipment

Disclosed are a method for transmitting a reference signal, a base station and a user equipment. The method comprises: determining at least one set of resource configuration parameters of a user equipment (UE), the at least one set of resource configuration parameters comprising a resource configuration parameter of a time-frequency tracking reference signal, the time-frequency tracking reference signal being borne on a carrier with a new carrier type; and sending the at least one set of resource configuration parameters to the UE. In the method for transmitting a reference signal in the embodiments of the present invention, by notifying the user equipment of the resource configuration parameter of the time-frequency tracking reference signal borne on the NCT carrier, the user equipment can accurately perform rate matching and/or interference elimination in various systems adopting an NCT carrier, thereby enabling normal communication between the base station and the user equipment, and improving the user experience.
