Preliminary clinical observation on HIFU for treatment of chyluria

Objective:To investigate the reliability and effectiveness after treating chyluria with HIFU.Methods:20 cases were treated by BY-01 type high-energy focal tumor therapy machine. Then observe the effect after heat radiation being adopted in the sick lateral kidney pedicle and upper ureter.Results:No complication occurred in the process of treatment with HIFU in the 20 cases. 19 cases did not recur but 1 case was inefficiency after 1-5 years following up. Posttreatment 6～12 months, the renogra, renal function and urinalysis were normal and the urine ethoxyethane trial was negative.Conclusions:It is reliability and effectiveness for treating chyluria with HIFU.
