Evaluation of Corrosion Inhibition of Imidazoline Cornplex

Corrosion inhibition which used in FCC fractionation tower was prepared by complexing water-solubility imidazoline together with other kinds of materials. The corrosion inhibition effects for A3 steels in the hydrochloric acid medium and acidity water of FCC fractionation tower were analysed by weight loss method. The results showed that the corrosion inhibition efficiency reaches 98.24%, after 8 h in the hydrochloric acid solution which pH value is 3.5 at 50℃, and the corrosion inhibitor is 150μg/g, and much lower than the indexes in the National Petroleum and Nature Gag Trade Standard.
