A imagem do ato de amamentar sob a ótica das puérperas em uma maternidade de risco habitual

The target of this research is the optics of the puerperal in an usual risk public maternity hospital in the second metropolitan area of the State of Rio de Janeiro towards the image of the act of breastfeeding, which had as goals: To identify the puerperal view from the photographic image itself during the act of breastfeeding in an usual risk public maternity hospital in the second metropolitan area of the State of Rio de Janeiro; To analyze these views concerning the act of breastfeeding Methodology: Descriptive and exploratory studies, with qualitative approach, bearing as subjects five women in lactation process, whose births happened in Alzira Reis Vieira Ferreira Municipal Maternity Hospital. The study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Medical School in the Antonio Pedro University Hospital, linked to the Fluminense Federal University, under protocol no 1.440.716/2016. The women were photographed, under due authorization, during the process of breastfeeding in the health unit and, subsequently, the semistructured interview were scheduled to identify each women‟s view towards the images about the act of breastfeeding. The interview were transcribed in their entirety and subjected to content analysis in the thematic modality. Results: Regarding the categories formed in the studies, were: The 3D images of the breastfeeding care network in the gravid puerperal cycle expressed by the women; The support to breastfeeding expressed by the image of overcoming. Results pointed the need for support to women, a care network, because there is a need to articulate the Basic Health Unit with the hospital unit, as well as following the recommendations for breastfeeding, as its promotion as early as possible, as early as in the delivery room, evidencing their satisfaction with the care which produced the overcoming of breastfeeding related issues. Conclusion: There is a need for expansion in the care for basic attention in the Maternity Hospital and in the compliance of recommendations to breastfeeding, in order to contribute to the success of breastfeeding by the women, and thus inhibiting weaning
