[The use of melatonin in combined therapy of drug-induced hepatitis].

: Combined treatment including melatonin resulted in the improvement of general conditions in 81.7% of the patients with drug-induced hepatitis compared with 66.5% after standard therapy including hepatoprotectors. Normalization of biochemical characteristics was more pronounced after treatment with melatonin that caused no side effects as shown by laboratory and instrumental studies.
