Zinc liquid corrosion-resistant iron-based alloy and preparation method thereof

2015
The invention discloses a zinc liquid corrosion-resistant iron-based alloy and a preparation method thereof. The iron-based alloy comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 25% of molybdenum, 10% of nickel, 14% of chromium, 0-3% of silicon and the balance of iron. The iron-based alloy can be prepared by repeatedly melting industrial iron particles, molybdenum particles, nickel particles, chromium particles and silicon particles for 5-7 times in a magnetically-controlled tungsten electrode vacuum melting furnace. The alloy is high in purity, good in hardness, excellent in tissue and performance stability and wear resistance performance, the minimum corrosion rate of the alloy obtained by experiments is 1.8mu m/h, the corrosion rate is obviously reduced compared with 316 steel and cobalt-based alloy in the prior art, no visible cracks of a matrix structure can be observed under a scanning electron microscope after being corroded for long time, the zinc liquid corrosion resistance is strong and other performances are stable, and the zinc liquid corrosion-resistant iron-based alloy is a desirable zinc liquid corrosion-resistant material. The preparation method is simple, conditions are easily controlled, and the zinc liquid corrosion-resistant iron-based alloy is stable in performances and easy for realization of industrial popularization.
