Traduire Zola du XIXesiècle à nos jours

The book focuses on the reconstruction of the historical, linguistic and cultural horizon within which the translations of Zola's work are situated, both in Europe and outside it, and is articulated in three parts, which highlight the debate among translators and scholars, as well as the remediated responses by and through Zola's novels, from the literary text to its iconic texture, up to the filmic adaptations. It is the first overall research concerning these issues.
