The article is devoted to the problem of stability in the control systems, which are based on model predictive control strategy. Two different approaches are proposed. First one is based on the modal parametric optimization and provides closed-loop system stability in the linear approximation. Second approach relies on the introduction of the additional terminal constraint, which must be satisfied at each sample instant in order to provide stability
