Programa de nivelamento no ensino superior: um estudo de caso das Faculdades Unidas do Vale do Araguaia

As a strategy for coping with weaknesses and deficiencies in education, higher education institutions have implemented leveling courses for incoming students. The present study used documentary research and a questionnaire about the students' opinion, with the objective of analyzing the Leveling Program of the United Faculties of the Valley of Araguaia (UNIVAR), in relation to its history, structuring elements and student satisfaction. It is a pioneering initiative among the universities of the Vale do Araguaia, focused on the revision and appropriation of contents of basic education fundamental for the performance and progression of the student in higher education.
