Gas compression trends

This paper reviews the new technologies available for compressors to the natural gas industry. As natural gas fields start to have production declines, new equipment is needed to maintain the economic viability of the field. This paper discusses new advances in computerized control and remote control of compressors, the development of the compressor sales and rental market, and the new emission standards and efficiency of new equipment upgrades.
