Benchmark Testing in the S8 Wind Tunnel* of ONERA and DLR Pressure Sensitive Paints for Measurements in Unsteady/Instationary Flows

Measurements using ONERA (uPSP) and DLR (iPSP) pressure sensitive paints of the shock/boundary layer interaction phenomenon were carried out in the ONERA wind tunnel S8 in order to obtain a benchmark testing of these two paints. uPSP and iPSP images (as films) were shown and compared with time-resolved Schlieren measurements.
