The invention relates to a method for incinerating domestic garbage and municipal sludge together, wherein at least one set of sludge drying equipment is added on the basis of the existing domestic garbage incineration equipment and is arranged in front of the working segment of the domestic garbage incineration equipment for drying the wet municipal sludge through the high temperature flue gas generated by a garbage incinerator, the dried municipal sludge is incinerated with the domestic garbages in the garbage incinerator, and the dried flue gas is circulated to the incinerator to be burned again so as to eliminate off-flavor and harmful ingredients in the domestic garbage and the municipal sludge.
