Formation of particles of a new phase in dilute aqueous solutions of polyethylene oxide

1988
A new morphological form of PEO has been found formed from dilute aqueous solutions of the polymer when concentrated: this form represents fibrillar particles with a colloidal degree of dispersity which display the properties of crystalline particles. Thus, in the PEO-water system the liquidus-2 curve exists in the ranges 0·02
