Some silver-containing phases of tetragonal tungsten-bronze and pyrochlore type

While many complex oxides with crystalline structures of the tetragonal tungsten-bronze (TTB) and pyrochlore type (in particular those containing silver) have ferroelectric properties, there is little reliable information on the silver-containing phases because of the thermal instability of the initial compounds. From the investigation whose results are reported here, it is determined that (in all cases studied) the silver-containing phases are crystal-chemically analogous to the corresponding sodium and potassium compounds.
