Touch sensing method and system

The invention relates to a touch sensing system which comprises a touch interface and a control unit. The touch interface is used for sensing at least one area variation generated by at least one object on the touch interface. The control unit is used for defining a touch gesture corresponding to the object according to the area variation so as to execute a touch operation corresponding to the touch gesture. Moreover, a touch sensing method is also provided. For a user, the touch sensing method has a like three-dimensional touch mode, so that application of a touch sensing technology can be more diversified.
